Progression Structure
Squad Pathway
Beverley Barracudas operates a structured squad system designed to support swimmers at every stage of their development, from first joining the club through to high-level competitive performance.
Four Training Stages
Training Levels
Our pathway provides clear progression, ensuring swimmers train in an environment suited to their ability, age and development needs while maintaining a positive and supportive club experience. - Age (ensuring appropriate groupings for safeguarding)
- Current and previous qualifying times achieved
- Training capability and attendance
- Stroke technique and skill development needs
- Individual potential and goals
- Squad capacity & coaches discretion
Our coaching team has worked hard to ensure each swimmer is placed where they can thrive, be appropriately challenged, and enjoy their swimming journey.
Weekly Schedule
Training Time
Training sessions vary by squad and may include pool sessions, land training and competition preparation. Please check the current timetable regularly, as session times may change during school holidays, competitions or pool availability updates.
Swimmers are expected to attend their allocated sessions and arrive ready to train on time.
